Qualification: Engineering Graduate with HV Certification, CompEX Certification
Years of Experience: 10 minimum
Previous Experience: 10 years’ relevant experience with at least 3 years on power generation and HV switch gear for offshore facility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise power plant, electrical distribution system and Power Management System (Low and High Voltage).
2. Supervise instruments and Control systems.
3. Organize, control and perform condition monitoring and troubleshooting of the power plant and electrical distribution system as per Computerized Maintenance Management System.
4. Organize, control and perform condition monitoring and troubleshooting of the instruments and Control systems as per Computerized Maintenance Management System.
5. Organize, control and perform maintenance of the power plant, electrical distribution system and electrical equipment.
6. Organize, control and perform maintenance of instruments and Control systems.
7. Organize, control and perform maintenance of Information Technology, communication and navigation systems.
8. Organize, control and perform maintenance of metering systems.
9. Organize, control and perform maintenance of emergency and backup power systems.
10. Perform planning of electrical and instrument maintenance activities.
11. Responsible for Password integrity of all Safety and Control systems. Assign system access levels.
12. Administer electrical and instrument modifications requests under management of change procedure.
13. Ensure that calibration appliances and test instruments are correctly used and maintained.
14. Maintain Ex rating of electrical and instrument equipment as per design.
15. Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning.
16. Assist in preparation of budget and control expenditure.
17. Ensure sufficient stock of electrical and instrument spare parts and consumables.
18. Liaise with other departments for coordination of maintenance activities.
19. Liaise with Control Systems service provider and onshore Electrical & Instrument and Information Technology support.
20. Ensure the Permit To Work system is controlled and adhered to as per requirements of the system.
21. Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System. Review information in database to ensure it is technically valid, accurate and up to date.
22. Prepare and administer required reports.
23. Ensure that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively.
24. Ensure that vendors and contractors electrical and instrument equipment is fit for purpose and have valid certificates.
25. Undertake training relevant to the position requirements.
26. On-the-job-training of subordinate and trainees.
27. Assist in competency assessment and performance evaluation of subordinates.
28. Member of Emergency Response Team.
